Richard Paul Sauchuck, age 57, of Woodbridge, VA, passed away on June 30, 2017. Loving son of the late Paul and Dorothy (Capps) Sauchuck. Dear brother of Paula Lagos (late Bobby), Loretta Knight (Jack), Brenda Kerner (John), Randall Sauchuck (Karen Coughlin), and Regina Sauchuck. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family, including his “family” at The Grayson House, where he resided for the past 10 years.
Richard was a member of the Catholic faith and enjoyed attending mass with his sister Brenda. Richard loved nature and especially enjoyed participating in the Prince William County Horticultural Therapy Program. Spending time with his family, going out to eat, and listening to music were special joys in Richard’s life. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 12 Noon at Quantico National Cemetery, where he will be reunited with his parents.
Memorial donations may be made to the Good Shepherd Housing Foundation.
