Patricia Jackling, age 73, of Dale City, VA, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of 49 years to William C. Jackling, (PO1, USN, Ret.). Loving mother of Dawn M. Loffler (William M. Barker), Heather M. Jackling, William M. Jackling, Paul G. Jackling (Sherry), and Andrew P. Jackling. Cherished grandmother of David Barker, William Barker, Alex Jackling, Paul Jackling, and Michael Jackling. Dear sister of Mina Townsley, Andrew Laing (Joyce) Anna Myles (deceased) and Newton Laing. Patricia was born in Dundee, Scotland to the late Newton P. and Annie (Shand) Laing.
Patricia loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking family dinners, and was a Bingo junkie. Patricia was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She will be mised by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends at the Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Boulevard, Dale City, VA 22193 on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 14160 Ferndale Road, Dale City, VA 22193. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery.
