William Donald Robinson “Don”, formally of Port Leyden, NY, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017 in Manassas, VA.
He was born of April 20, 1926 in Scotia, NY to the late William Clarence and Adelaide Leona (Van Denburgh) Robinson. Don was an Army Veteran who not only was a Civil War and WWII enthusiast, but he enjoyed participating in the reenactments. He also was a Volunteer Firefighter for over 50 years.
Predeceased by his parents and wife Rosemary Robinson. Survivors include one son: Bill Robinson of Manassas Park, VA; two granddaughters: Ashleigh Mongue and husband Gary of Warrenton, VA, and Alyssa Robinson of Manassas Park, VA; two great grandchildren: Aiden and Arya Mongue both of Warrenton, VA; and one sister: Jean Parry of Schenectady, NY.
All Services will be held at a later date in New York. Don will be buried with his wife in his hometown.
