Here’s what we’re watching tonight, locally, as the results come in:
Manassas Mayoral race
Incumbent Mayor Hal Parrish ran unopposed and should win the seat for another four-year term.
Manassas City Council
Three seats are up for grabs on the Manassas City Council. Three Republicans and just as many Democrats vie to fill those seats. On the Republican side, incumbents Jonathan Way and Ian Lovejoy, and political newcomer Theresa Coates Ellis hope to win.
On the Democrats incumbent Mark Wolfe, Pam Sebesky who now sits on the Manassas City School Board, and political newcomer Rex Parr hope to snatch the seats for the majority GOP city council.
Manassas City Treasuer
Robin Perkins held the job as Manassas City Treasuer for 17 years. She decided to step down this year, and that left an opening for two candidates to run for the seat. Democrat Patricia Richie-Folks and Republican Russell Harrison seek to replace Perkins.
Manassas City Mayor
Frank Jones, a Republican, has spent the past 12 years as Manassas Park City Mayor. Democrat Jeanette Rishell, a Democrat, gave up her seat on the city’s Governing Body to run for the seat.
Manassas City Governing Body
There are three open seats on the city’s Governing Body. Only one candidate, Donald Shumaker, and independent, was able to get onto the ballot. Manassas Park City voters today had seven other write-in options to choose from today on the ballot.
Stafford County School Board
A special election in Stafford County’s Griffis-Widewater District pits former School Board member Dana Reinboldt, who is seeking her old seat after losing it one year ago to Emily Fallon, who was convicted this year of sealing $23,000 from Anne E. Moncure Elementary School when she served as the PTO president, prior to winning election to the school board.
Political newcomer Jamie Decatur hopes to win the seat. She’s had support for numerous Republican counterparts in the county.\

The long-serving Robert Wittman aims to hold his seat from Democrat challenger Matt Rowe, and from independent Gail Parker, known for her “Gail’s For Rail” stance on expanding public transportation.
