On October 9, members of the Prince William Police Search & Rescue Team, with assistance from the Virginia State Police, conducted an extensive search of the area. During the investigation, descriptions of two possible suspects were developed. The victim’s body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Manassas where he was positively identified. The investigation continues.Â
Suspect Descriptions:
Black male, unknown age, 5’7” with a thin build and medium complexion
Last seen wearing a gray hooded jacket and blue jeans
Black male, unknown age, with a heavy build and full mustache & beard
Last seen wearing all dark clothing including a black cap with white front

Homicide Investigation- On October 8 at 5:56PM, officers responded to the 1400 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge for a report of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from apparent gunshots to the body in front of one of the apartment buildings. Â The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Â Officers conducted an extensive search of the area. Â No suspects have been identified. Â The identity of the victim will be released once positively identified and next of kin has been notified. Â More information will be released when available. Â The investigation continues.

One man is dead after a shooting on Bayside Avenue in Woodbridge.Â
Police said don’t have any suspects in the murder case.
