From Prince William police:Â
Felony Child Neglect | Felony Hit and Run | Eluding â On September 29 at 6:29PM, an officer attempted to conducted a vehicle stop in the area of the Caton Hill Rd and Minnieville Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for a traffic violation. When the officer activated his lights and sirens, the driver refused to stop and fled at a high rate of speed onto northbound Minnieville Rd. Officers pursued the vehicle onto Telegraph Rd where the driver crashed into a guard rail causing the vehicle to overturn. The driver then exited the vehicle and fled on foot. A passenger of the vehicle, identified as a 17-year-old male juvenile of Woodbridge, remained at the vehicle and had minor injuries. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect who was not located. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused.
