From Prince William police:Â
Homicide Investigation – On July 30 at 8:35AM, officers responded to the 7400 block of Willoughby Ln in Manassas to investigate a double stabbing.
When officers arrived, they located two victims, an adult man and an adult woman, in the parking lot suffering from stab wounds. The male victim has since died as a result of his injuries. The female victim is currently being treated an area hospital with serious injuries.
The suspect, an acquaintance to the female victim, was eventually located in the area and was found to also be injured from the encounter. This suspect is in custody and also receiving treatment for his injuries.
This incident was isolated to the parties involved and there is no threat to the public. The identities of the parties involved will be released once a next of kin is notified for the victims and formal charges obtained against the suspect.
The investigation continues. This is Prince William County’s 13th homicide for 2016.
