One of three police officers shot on February 27 in a doubly fatal domestic dispute incident returned to duty Monday.Â
Officer Jessie Hempen, 31, an eight-year veteran on the force, is back with his fellow officers.Â

Hempen was released from a hospital in March.Â
Officer David McKeown, 33, has not yet returned to the force and is still in recovery. He has 12 years on the force.Â
Ashley Guindon, 28, was shot and killed during the incident. It was her first day on the job.
Ronald Hamilton, the man charged in the incident, is also said to have shot and killed his 29-year-old wife Crystal Hamilton before police arrived to their home on Lashmere Court in Dale City.
