The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Virginia traveled Route 1 south today.
The torch began the day in Fairfax County before crossing the Occoquan River and entering Prince William County about 2:30 p.m. Today's torch run ended at Quantico Marine Corps Base, according to the torch run route map.
The torch run continues at 6 a.m. tomorrow along Route 1 in Stafford County. Runners will leave the Bumgardner Development located at 3255 Jefferson Davis Highway, will travel the highway south and are expected to arrive in Falmouth by 8:45 a.m.Â
