Bibeau charged with assaulting police officer

A 57-year-old Woodbridge woman is charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer, and resisting arrest.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On April 13 at 7:05PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12000 block of Skipjack Ct in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a disorderly person. An officer responded and made contact with the accused. During the encounter, the accused became agitated towards the officer and struck him in the chest. While the officer was attempting arresting the accused, she resisted and kicked the officer in the lower body. The accused was detained without further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
