BANK ROBBERY JUST OCCURRED: *EASTERN PWC* Wells Fargo Bank at 2876 Dale Blvd, Woodbridge. Female demanded cash from teller. No weapon was seen. Female is described as white or Hispanic with blue eyes, short brown hair, possibly 24-26 years old, about 5’5”, wearing a bucket hat, black and white sweatshirt and unknown color pants. She received several hundred dollars in small bills. She left the area on foot, unknown direction of travel.

Police are investigating a bank robbery at a Wells Fargo Bank branch near the intersection of Dale Boulevard and Interstate 95.

A woman with a note demanding cash walked into the bank about 4:30 p.m. Police cars are now posted on the bank, as well as locations near the bank, according to initial reports.

The woman did not display a weapon during the robbery. Police are searching for a woman who appears to be 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing a red shirt, according to initial reports.

The suspect was last seen walking toward a Family Dollar store in the adjacent Ashdale Shopping Plaza.
