Manassas police were called to a shooting in the city Friday afternoon.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. on April 1, 2016, Manassas City Police responded to the 9800 block of Maury Ln for shots fired. Upon arrival, officers learned that two juveniles were involved in a shooting that stemmed from a previous altercation. An un-involved residence and unoccupied vehicle were struck as a result of the incident.A 15-year-old male and a 16-year-old male were apprehended in the area of 7th Regiment Dr and Hastings Dr and are in custody. This is an active investigation with charges pending. Anyone with information pertaining to this incident is encouraged to call Manassas City Police Department at 703-257-8000.
