Police in Prince William County are investigating a shooting, and the discovery of a body that occurred late Friday.

Death Investigation- On March 18th at approximately 10:00PM, officers responded to the 11200 block of Golden Leaf Circle in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they located an individual suffering from a gunshot wound. The individual was later transported to an area hospital for his injuries.
During the initial investigation, it was determined that the shooting actually occurred in the area of Blue Gray Circle. During a canvass of the immediate area, officers located the body of an adult male who was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation continues and additional information will be released once it is made available.
