Police reported today that a pitbull was shot and killed Tuesday in Manassas Park.

On March 8, 2016, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Manassas Park Emergency Communications Center received calls of gunshots in the area of 111 Runyon Court. Officers responded and found a tan colored, Pitbull suffering from a single gunshot wound.
The dog was rushed to an emergency animal hospital where it succumbed to its injuries. Two suspects were seen running from the area and are described as follows:
1. White male with blonde hair, thin build, wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and a baseball hat.
2. White or Hispanic male with brown hair, heavy set, wearing a black hoodie, and grey basketball style shorts.
Anyone with information is asked to call 703-361-1136. There is up to a $1,000.00 reward being offered for information leading to the arrest of these suspects.
