Three police officers were shot during a domestic incident Dale City, according to multiple sources.
Shots rang out at a single family home near the intersection of Lashmere Court and Tahoma Way sometime after 6 p.m. Saturday. The condition of the three officers is unknown.
We’re also told one other person who was inside the home was also shot, whose condition is also unknown.
One person is said to be in custody in connection to the shootings.
Video obtained by Potomac Local shows one police officer strapped to a stretcher being taken to an ambulance. A helicopter was called to take at least two victims to a local hospital.
“I heard what sounded like seven or eight gunshots while I was inside my home,” said Mary, who lives on Quate Lane and witnessed the commotion.
Several neighbors told Potomac Local a police officer who was attempting to inform neighbors about the officer-involved shooting broke into tears over the incident.
A police officer was seen strapped to a stretcher, his shirt bloodied, and placed into an ambulance.
“This is very scary,” said Mary.
