Manassas man robbed of cell phone walking on Irongate

A 46-year-old man of Manassas was involved in an armed robbery when two unknown men removed two cell phones and an undisclosed amount of money from his pockets.

According to police, the suspects then fled the area on foot.

Armed Robbery – On February 16 at 8:14PM, officers responded to the 10000 block of Irongate Way in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 46 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he was walking in the area above when he was approached by two unknown men. During the encounter, one of the men brandished a firearm while the other went through the victim’s pockets removing two cell phones and an undisclosed amount of money. The suspects then fled the area on foot. Minor injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects who were not located. The investigation continues.

Suspect Descriptions:

Black male, between 28 & 30 years of age, 6’0”, 200lbs with a medium build and black hair

Last seen wearing a grey jacket and black sweatpants

White male, between 18 & 20 years of age, 5’8”, 150lbs with a thin build

Last seen wearing a white sweater and blue sweatpants
