Powerball jackpot grows to $1.3 billion; Some winners in our area

No one won the jackpot in Saturday night’s Powerball drawing.

The jackpot has now grown to $1.3 billion — the largest Powerball jackpot in history,

There were two $50,000 wining tickets sold in our area, and a $1 million ticket was sold in Hampton Roads.

The winners in our area include tickets sold in Montclair and Manassas. The winners of the tickets have not been identified.

Virginia Lottery officials told us where the winning tickets were sold:

· 7-Eleven, 16170 Country Club Drive, Dumfries

· 7-Eleven, 7500 Cushing Road, Manassas

More winning tickets were sold nearby:

· 7-Eleven, 6146 Rose Hill Drive, Alexandria
· Macs Circle K, 22405 Flagstaff Plaza, Ashburn
· Macs Circle K, 43740 Parkhurst Plaza, Ashburn
· B.O.B., 12201 Sunrise Valley Dive, Reston

A total of 15 winning tickets worth $50,000 were sold in Virginia.

The $1 million ticket was sold at:

· Convenience on the Go, 1441 Holland Road, Suffolk

The next Powerball drawing will be at 10:59 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14. The Virginia Lottery website will have the winning numbers.
