John Allen Surin Sr. 3/6/1967 – 12/8/2015 – 48 years of age Navy Veteran of Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
Survived by his son John Allen Surin Jr. His daughter Brittney, two grandchildren Joanna and Landon.Parents Joan & Paul Surin of Ft. Pierce, Fl. Four brothers Michael Surin (Kathleen); David Surin; Stephen Surin; Joseph Surin (Casondra). His Aunt Mary Ann Petricca and Aunt and Uncle Ronald & Phyllis Ziobroski. Several Nieces, nephews and cousins. Dorothy Villa devoted companion for the past several years. John was a graduate of Draper High School where he was involved with the marching band and several sports.
He went right into the Navy and took several technical courses with many government outreaches. He was an International Representative for Argon St, S.T. Research, and Boeing Aircraft. A past member of the American Legion Post 162 Lorton Va., VFW, Moose Lodge, Fraternal order of Eagles. He received a degree in Divinity and continued to be a leader and friend to all. There will be no viewing or service as per John’s wishes.
He will have his ashes distributed at sea by the US Navy. In lieu of flowers contributions should be directed to the American Legion Post 162,8210 Legion Dr. Lorton, VA.22079.VA Medical Center of West Palm Beach www.westpalmbeach.va.gov; Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road Fort Pierce, FL 34981 www.TCHospice.org and St. Lucie Medical Center.
There is no way to thank and reach the numerous people who aided John from the pain he suffered during his illness. Our Loving Father has taken my son home. May God Bless you All.
