Fire investigators at 11 a.m. were on the scene of a major house fire doused earlier this morning.
Two firefighters became trapped when they went inside one of the four homes affected by the blaze to look for a female that had already made it safely out of the house. The two firefighters escaped the burning blaze through a window of the home, said Manassas Fire Marshal Frank Teevan.
Two cats died in the fire.
Teevan said investigators don’t yet know what caused the blaze. It could be sometime later this week before we learn how this fire started.
