Inmate orders girl, mom killed, say Stafford investigators

A 22-year-old man already in jail on sodomy charges, he now faces charges of attempted murder after investigators said he tired to have a 13-year-old girl and her mother killed.

Here’s more in a press release from Stafford County Sheriff’s Office:

On Tuesday, November 24, 2015 Detective Bob Parsons uncovered information, as part of an ongoing investigation, that Tyrone Warren was attempting to pay a sum of money to have two individuals murdered.  The two, a 13 year old female and her mother, were involved in a previous incident with Tyrone Warren.  In August of 2015 Tyrone Warren was charged with 1 Count of Sodomy by Force of the 13 year old female and placed in the Rappahannock Regional Jail. That trial is set for January of 2016.

Over the next two weeks, Tyrone Warren, calling from the jail, contacted an undercover law enforcement officer who was posing as a “hit man” to broker a deal to kill the two individuals. Tyrone Warren was willing to pay $5,000.00 to have the two individuals murdered.  Detective Parsons presented his findings to the Stafford County Grand Jury on Monday, December 7, 2015.  The Grand Jury then indicted Tyrone Warren.  As a result of the early and intensive investigation the two intended victims never faced danger or were harmed in any way.

Tyrone Maurice Warren, 22, of no fixed address, is charged with two counts of criminal solicitation to commit murder and two counts of attempted murder. Warren is being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
