A man is dead after he was found suffering a gunshot wound in Woodbridge.
Police were called to the 14400 block of Village Drive, just off Route 1 at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday. Officers arrived to find the unidentified victim suffering a gunshot wound in his upper body. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
A female friend of the victim was also at the crime scene but was not injured.
This case does not appear to be random, police said. An investigation is ongoing.
