Police are investigating a sex assault that occurred near Manassas.
Here’s the police report:
Sexual Assault – On November 2nd at 6:15PM, officers responded to the area of Yellow Lily Dr and Rosemary Dr in Manassas (22109) to investigate a sexual assault. The victim, a 19 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she was walking in the above area when she was approached from behind by an unknown man.
During the encounter, the man inappropriately touched her over her clothing. Following the incident, the man walked away on foot. No further contact was made and no injuries were reported. Officers checked the immediate area and did not locate the man.
