Prince William County PBA endorses candidates

On September 27th, the Prince William County Chapter of the Virginia Police Benevolent Association held a political screening for those candidates running for Commonwealth’s Attorney and Board of Supervisors.

During the screening, the following candidates demonstrated why their experience and values make them qualified to represent the voters of Prince William County.

They also demonstrated that they are committed to making strong, effective law enforcement and the safety of the community a priority in their campaign.

Paul Ebert Commonwealth’s Attorney

Earnest Porta, Jr. Board of Supervisors

Occoquan District Maureen Caddigan Board of Supervisors

Potomac District Frank Principi Board of Supervisors, Woodbridge District

These candidates’ knowledge of important law enforcement issues that matter to those protecting the community is vital. Their experience make them deserving recipients of our endorsement. Candidates like Ebert, Porta, Jr., Caddigan and Principi will have the best interests of our law enforcement officers in mind when they take office.

The Prince William County Chapter of the Virginia Police Benevolent Association is proud to stand behind these candidates and would like to encourage the citizens of Prince William County to do the same.

The Virginia Police Benevolent Association is a division of the Southern States Police Benevolent Association, a not-for-profit professional organization dedicated to improving the law enforcement profession.

PBA members are full-time or retired employees of the various federal, state, county and municipal law enforcement and correctional agencies in Virginia. This professional association, funded by membership dues and citizen contributions, provides legal, legislative, disciplinary and other representation to member officers as well as an accidental death benefit to members’ beneficiaries.

The PBA prohibits members from engaging in or condoning any strike by law enforcement officers, electing instead to represent members through aggressive political action.
