Police searching for suspect who set fire to Woodbridge home

Prince William police are looking for an individual that set fire to a Woodbridge home.

According to Prince William police, officers responded to the home on Kingsman Road on the morning of August 18, to help Prince William fire and rescue.

Prince William police stated that an individual entered the home after breaking a back window.

The home was being renovated and no one was inside at the time of the fire, stated Prince William police.

A witness that was at the home to make a delivery saw the individual inside, and was told to wait outside, according to Prince William police. When the witness went inside the home, and the individual fled, they saw smoke and called for help, stated Prince William police.

Nothing was reported missing. The Fire Marshal’s Office is currently investigating the arson.

A police K-9 unit was called to search for the individual, who has not yet been found, according to Prince William police.

The individual is described as a white male, adult aged, 5’8” and 200 pounds with black hair and a long goatee. He was last seen wearing a light blue shirt and shorts, and may be driving a gray Toyota Sienna van with temporary license plates, according to Prince William police.
