The First Tee to host golf tournament June 19

Forest Greens Golf 10685460_958232130869702_1497524685696061445_nClub – managed by Billy Casper Golf (BCG) – will host dozens of local golfers for a highly entertaining and rewarding tournament benefitting The First Tee of Prince William County on Friday, June 19.

The event begins at 10:30 a.m. with player registration followed by a shotgun, team scramble at noon.  On-course competitions include hole-in-one vacation giveaways on all par 3s and a 60-foot putt to win $1,000.

Children were of utmost importance to the late PGA TOUR legend and BCG namesake Billy Casper.  Father to 11 and grandfather to 71, Casper said, “I believe that youngsters, the future of our great country, are our most precious commodities.  Through golf, they learn the importance of discipline, family and invaluable life skills necessary to compete in an ever-changing world.”
