On the evening of June 9, Prince William police responded to a home on Redskin Court in Woodbridge based on a request from Fairfax police.
According to Prince William police, they were told that 37-year old Michelle Bullock was at the residence and was wanted by police in Fairfax.
When officers were on scene, they saw Bullock walking towards a vehicle. Officers approached the vehicle, when Bullock was seated in the driver’s seat, stated Prince William police.
Two officers – one at the driver’s side door, and another at the passenger’s side door – attempted to address Bullock.
Prince William police stated that Bullock then placed the vehicle in reversed and accelerated backwards at high speed. Because of this, an officer on the driver’s side door had to run alongside the vehicle, before being able to let go safely.
No one was injured.
Bullock was later located and arrested. She is being charged with two counts of assault and battery on a law enforcement officer, one count of resisting arrest and one count of obstruction of justice. She is being held without bond.
