Manassas police vehicle hit, road closed

Update

After investigating, Manassas City police were able to identify the driver that struck a police vehicle this morning on Hastings Drive as 29-year old Dumfries woman Cindy Rathbun.

Rathbun was charged with reckless driving.

At 10:25 a.m. a Manassas City Police vehicle was hit in the left lane of Hastings Drive, going westbound, when a driver attempted to make a U-turn from the right lane.
