Walk not only important for us, but for our community

My name isScreen Shot 2015-05-29 at 10.51.15 AM Camille VanSkiver, and I was one of the AP students that helped create the Spriggs United Suicide Awareness Walk that happened last Saturday.

I would just like to sincerely thank you on behalf on my entire class and everyone involved for giving us extra coverage from Potomac Local and helping to spread the word on our powerful movement.

This may have been one of many final projects that we had to do, but it truly doesn’t do it justice to say that this walk was incredibly important not only to us, but for our entire community. Your support was invaluable in helping us to make this as big as possible, and to raise more awareness for such a massive and yet massively ignored issue.

Thank you so much for all that you do and all that you have done for us, and we hope to have your continued support next year if we can find a way to host this project again!

Sincerest of thanks from Mrs. Geraghty’s AP Government classes
