Following the decision by the board of elections to not allow for a state-run Republican primary, the Prince William County Republican Party will be hosting a firehouse primary on April 25.
All Prince William County, Manassas, and Manassas Park residents will have the ability to vote in the primary that day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to help decide who will be the Republican nominees for the general election in November.

According to a statement from the Prince William County Republican Party, all voters in the primary must sign a statement of intent, or provide their Republican Party of Virginia membership card to the balloting location.
There will be no absentee ballots, proxies or provisional ballots permitted.
