News and feature stories posted to Potomac Local will now be included in research libraries across the globe.
Potomac Local now joins other local, regional, and national news outlets whose work is featured on NewsBank. The service allows users in public libraries and research centers to pull current and archived information from thousands of newspapers and online news organizations.
NewsBank was founded more than 40 years ago and offers more than 10,000 searchable titles spanning a wide array of sources.
Potomac Local was founded in 2010 and has grown to be one of the area’s leading local news sources posting daily news and information about Prince William County, Stafford County, and the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park exclusively online.
Potomac Local is a member of the Virginia Press Association and LION Publishers.
