Master Chief Albert Victor Poillucci, U.S. Navy (Ret.) Formerly of Allston, Massachusetts –
Retired Master Chief Albert Victor (“Vic”) Poillucci born December 20th, 1937, entered into eternal rest on April 1, 2015. He proudly served 24 years in the United States Navy. He was highly decorated and attained the highest enlisted rank of E-9. Dad was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, American Legion, The Veterans of Foreign War, The Republican National Committee and the Council of Logistics Engineering Professionals. He was astute with his civic responsibilities teaching American History classes to potential immigrants. As a true patriot he volunteered teaching high school students (and many more) the significance and history of Flag Day and was a huge supporter of the VFW Patriots Pen scholarship program.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years: Nancy Lou Meadows Poillucci; three daughters Jeanna Sue Rowley, Theresea Ann Moore, Donna Marie Poillucci, two sons Michael Victor Poillucci and Mark Joseph Poillucci and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The viewing will be open to the public at Millers Funeral Home on April 6 from 2:00-4:00 pm and from 6:00-9:00 pm for those who wish to pay their respects. Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church 14160 Ferndale Rd, Dale City, VA 22193, on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 10 am with graveside service at Quantico National Cemetery with Military honors.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances be made on Vic’s behalf to Veterans of Foreign War.
