DUMFRIES, Va. - On September 24, a woman was arrested in the area for firing several gunshots. According to the report, police were notified by a 911 caller with no reports of injuries or damage.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On September 24th at 9:34PM, officers responded to the 18500 block of Old Triangle Rd in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a shots fired call. A caller reported to police that multiple gunshots were heard in the area. Officers arrived and determined that the accused had fired several rounds into the air. No injuries or property damage were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident.
