BRISTOW, Va. – On September 21, a homeowner told police that she found an unknown man in her kitchen after she heard the garage door open. The man quickly left the home and police say that he may have used the garage door and an unlocked inside door to get inside.

Residential Burglary – On September 21st at 10:10PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 8700 block of Diamond Hill Dr in Bristow (20136) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that she was in her living room when she heard a door open which leads from an attached garage to the kitchen area of the home. The homeowner, who believed a family member was returning to the residence, went into the kitchen where she then observed an unknown man. The man immediately fled through the same door. No property was reported missing. The male is believed to have entered the home through an open garage door then through an unlocked interior door.

White male, between 20 & 25 years of age with short brown hair
Last seen wearing khakis short – no further description
