DUMFRIES, Va. - On September 21, staff at Winner's House Church told police that someone forced open a back door and stole nearly $6,000 worth of items that included a camcorder, projector, and three computers, as well as a safe holding an unknown amount of money from the church.

Burglary to a Church – On September 21st at 8:18AM, officers responded to the Winner’s House Church located at 17221 Wayside Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. Staff reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:01AM and 8:10AM. The investigation revealed that entry was gained into the church through a rear door which was forced open. A camcorder, projector and three computers, total value around $5,800, in addition to, a safe containing an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.
