Police Find, Arrest Man Connected to 7-Eleven Robbery

DALE CITY, Va. – On Sept. 18, police found and arrested one of the suspects connected to robbing a 7-Eleven on August 24. According to the report, police are still trying to determine who is the second suspect. 

Here’s the latest from Prince William police:

Armed Robbery – *ARREST – On September 2nd, detectives from the Robbery Unit were able to identify one of the suspects involved in the robbery which was reported to have occurred at the Cloverdale 7-11 located at 14820 Cloverdale Rd in Woodbridge on August 24th. The suspect was identified as the accused, Luis ESPINAL. Following the investigation, warrants were obtained against the accused in connection to the robbery. On September 18th, detectives located and attempted to arrest the accused at a business located in the 17300 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy. The accused attempted to flee on foot but was quickly detained without further incident. Detectives are still attempting to identify the second suspect.

Luis Josue ESPINAL, 20, of the 16600 block of Galt Ct in Woodbridge

Charged with robbery and resisting arrest

Court date: November 14, 2014 | Bond: held WITHOUT bond

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On August 24th at 2:04AM, officers responded to the Cloverdale 7-11 located at 14820 Cloverdale Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that two unknown men entered the business and attempted to steal two cases of beer. One of the employees attempted to stop the suspect from leaving the store and was assaulted. During the encounter, one of the men implied he had a knife. Minor injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects.

Suspect Description:

Black male, between 16 & 20 years of age, 5’8”, 160lbs with a medium build, light complexion and black hair

Last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and black pants
