MANASSAS, Va. – Manassas City Councilman Ian Lovejoy will be hosting a Regional Business Leaders Round table on Sept. 10 from 2 p.m – 3:30 p.m. Business owners and other interested community partners are encouraged to attend.
This important roundtable discussion is the first of several such events being organized by Councilman Ian Lovejoy over the coming year. It is designed to give the business community an opportunity to share insights, ideas, success stories and any concerns regarding the business climate in the City of Manassas and the broader Prince William County area.
“I think it’s important for the business community, large and small, to meet face-to-face with their government leaders to share thoughts, questions and concerns. Ultimately our local business leaders are the experts on our regional business climate and their feedback is invaluable,” says Councilman Lovejoy.
Business leaders will be asked to identify challenges affecting their operations. Next, they will be asked to rank these challenges from most pressing to least pressing. Finally, business leaders will be able to recommend action steps. Ample networking time will follow
Local economic/government leaders who will be attending include:
- Delegate Jackson Miller
- Manassas City Mayor Hal Parrish
- Manassas City Manager Pat Pate
- Manassas City Economic Development Director Patrick Small
- PWCC Director of Government Relations, Brendon Shaw
The event will be hosted at 9817 Godwin Drive #202, Manassas VA 20110. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
