LAKE RIDGE, Va. – On August 28, a homeowner told police that they saw an unknown man walking up their stairs after hearing a noise from a sliding glass door. According to the report, the man left the home before police arrived but no forced entry was made and nothing was stolen.

Residential Burglary – On August 28th at 5:55AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 11500 block of Hill Meade Ln in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that an unknown noise was heard coming from a lower level sliding glass door. Upon checking the home, the homeowner observed an unknown man was walking up the stairs. The homeowner immediately called police and the suspect fled. No property was reported missing. There were no signs of forced entry into the home. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.

Black male, unknown age, 5’10”, 150-170lbs with a medium build and short black hair
Last seen wearing a white t-shirt – no further description
