DALE CITY, Va. – On August 20, a homeowner told police that on the previous day, neighbors had noticed that two young males tried to enter the home and then left on foot. According to the report, police were not called the previous day and nothing was stolen.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On August 20th at 9:09AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4400 block of Hemingway Dr in Woodbridge to investigate an attempted burglary which was reported to have occurred on August 19th around 9:45AM. A neighbor reported to the homeowner that two unknown males, possibly juveniles, were seen in the backyard of the residence attempting to enter the home. At the time of the incident, police were not contacted. No entry was made into the home and the suspects fled on foot. No property was reported missing.
Suspect Descriptions:
Black male, between 15 & 18 years of age, 5’11”, 130lbs with a thin build
Last seen wearing all black or dark colored clothing including a hooded sweatshirt
Male, unknown race, between 15 & 18 years of age, 5’11”, 130lbs with a thin build and long dirty blonde hair
Last seen wearing a gray shirt and bright blue pants
