Motorcycle Stolen From Home Near Dumfries

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. – On August 18, a homeowner told police that an intruder entered the home, damaged the basement door, and stole various items, including a motorcycle, television, and a gaming console. 

Here’s the latest from Prince William police;

Residential Burglary – On August 18th at 6:52PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 17600 block of Avenel Ln in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 4:00PM on August 15th and 6:30PM on August 18th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence through a basement door which was found damaged. A gaming console, television, camera and other property, total value around $3,000, were reported missing. The homeowner’s vehicle, which was parked in the garage, was also reported stolen.
