TRIANGLE, Va. –Â On August 4, a 29-year-old woman told police that a male friend kept her from leaving after an argument. She was hospitalized for non-life threatening injuries. Police have issued an arrest warrant against the male friend.Â

Abduction | Domestic Assault & Battery – On August 4th at 1:07PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 18100 block of Kilmer Ln in Triangle (22172) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 29 year old woman of Triangle, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and prevented her from leaving the residence. A neighbor heard the altercation and separated the two parties. The accused left the residence prior to police arriving in the area. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants against the accused.
