Leadership Prince William, in partnership with the Prince William Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), will host “It’s a Multigenerational World. Are You Ready?” on Wednesday, Aug. 20. The seminar, which is open to the public, will be held at the Continental Event Center, 9705 Liberia Avenue, with continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and the presentation from 8 to 10 a.m.
“How does a Baby Boomer work effectively with a colleague from Gen X? How does a Millennial fit into the mix? Each generation brings its unique life experiences and work philosophy to the workplace,” said Leadership Prince William Executive Director Kathy Bentz. “This seminar will help participants learn how to leverage the talents and perspectives of each generation in today’s fast-paced work environment.”
The seminar will feature nationally known speaker Sonia Aranza on how to succeed in a multigenerational workplace. Ms. Aranza is a global consultant with nearly 20 years of experience, specializing in Diversity Strategies, Cross Cultural Communications and Leadership. The U.S. Department of Labor describes her work as “Outstanding.” SHRM consistently ranks her among the top speakers at national and international conferences, based on audience evaluations.
