PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — Police spent last week rounding up suspects in a wide-reaching narcotics ring in Prince William County, Manassas, and Manassas Park.

A total of 68 people were arrested and charged in connection with drug offenses during an operation Prince William police dubbed “dragon slayer.” Targeting the distribution of prescription medication and heroin use, detectives executed 13 search warrants and conducted searches at six additional locations.

Arrest warrants were also obtained for 18 other individuals not apprehended during “operation dragon slayer” which took place June 24 though June 26.
