Mary “Mickie” Collins, 86 of Lorton, VA died at her home on Tuesday, April 29, 2014.
She was born in 1928 to the late Raymond and Anna Conrad. Including her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband, William J. Collins.
Mary is survived by two daughters, Karen (KC) Gordon and her husband, Wayne; Stacie Thornton; two sons, William Collins and his wife Debbie; and Scott Collins; three sisters, Susan Jenkins, Helen Myers, and Terri Ingle; one brother, Sonny Conrad. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Corey Bendall, Caitlyn Collins, Meghan Thornton, Kelsie Collie, Amanda Thornton, and Alena Collins, and three great grandchildren, Cameron Cantrell, Addyson Wallace, and Kinley Bendall.
Family and friends will be received at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City VA 22193 on Monday, May 5, 2014 from 1-3pm and 4-6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, 13752 Mary’s Way, Woodbridge VA 22191 on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 11:30am. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery.
