PWC Humane Society and Minnieville Animal Hospital Helping Needy Animals

On Sunday March 30, Minnieville Animal Hospital and the Prince William County Humane Society will be hosting an open house from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the animal hospital in Woodbridge.

Veterinarians and technicians will be on hand to help owners with low cost grooming services as well as microchipping and rabies vaccines during the open house. Animals from the humane society will also be there for anyone who might want to adopt a pet. All of the money raised during the open house will go to the P.A.W.S. program at the humane society which covers medical care for homeless pets to make them adoptable.

“Prince William Humane Society is thrilled to have such a great ally in Minnieville Animal Hospital and it’s fabulous staff,” said Lori Leary President of the Prince William Humane Society. “They have been a vital partner in the emergency care of several of our PAWS Pets and we appreciate their compassion & support.”

Every Tuesday in April, supporters of the Prince William Humane Society can eat out at Not Your Average Joe’s and support the charity. The Woodbridge location will donate 15% of the evening’s bill to the humane society. Just mention the Prince William Humane Society to the server during the meal to support the cause.

“We are so pleased that Not Your Average Joe’s has offered to support the Prince William Humane Society and the homeless pets at the P.W. County Animal Shelter,” Leary said. “We hope everyone will take advantage of this generous offer and enjoy some excellent meals every Tuesday for the month of April.”
