The route on Saturday morning was marked with cones and signs, and police from Occoquan and the nearby Town of Quantico provided runners direction and protection from passing cars by closing off many of the town’s streets to vehicle traffic.

The top placing participants were honored after the race during a ceremony at Town Hall. Occoquan Mayor Earnie Porta placed medals on the top finishing runners.
