Rt. 17 Work Zone to Impact I-95 Interchange

Drivers on the Interstate 95 interchange and the International Parkway may run into traffic, as the speed limit has been temporarily reduced 45 mph to 35 mph.

The reduced speeds are a result of a $48.9 million dollar Rt. 17 widening project in Stafford that will expand Rt. 17 from four to six lanes on a two-mile stretch between McLane Drive and Stafford Lakes Parkway.

The project, which began in June 2013, is expected to be finished in December 2016.
