Prince William County
On Wednesday, January 29, 2014 all Prince William County Public Schools will be closed due to inclement weather in certain areas. Code Red for employees. All school division activities including Professional Development sessions are cancelled. SACC will not open.
Stafford County
Monday, February 17th, 2014, which is a make-up day, will be a regular school day and a “Y” day for middle and high school students.
Exams have been canceled; however, if any high school student (or middle school student taking a high school course) wishes to take an exam, they should contact their teacher on the next school day. Should a student elect to take an exam, the result will be figured into their grade.
Each school will make arrangements for the administration of these optional exams at their school. The exams will be offered on Wednesday and Thursday, January 29th and 30th. Any questions regarding the exams should be directed to the school administration at your school.

All Manassas City Public Schools will be closed today. Code Gray for employees. There will be no after school activities.

DoD Schools Quantico
This base operating status is Code Blue and DoDEA Schools are closed for the day. The base will open at 10:00 a.m. Code blue is typically used when the impact of the winter weather event is more significant and time is needed to conduct clearing operations before the base can support near-normal operations.Â
Reasonable delays for reporting to work are excused. Unscheduled leave is authorized. Emergency and essential personnel are expected to report to work. Personnel should contact their chain of command for specific command/activity guidance or direction. And again, DoDEA schools aboard MCB Quantico are closed today.
