Adam Sorge

Adam Charles Sorge was born on May 12, 1994 at Andrews AFB, Maryland. Adam attended Grace Brethren Christian School until moving to Manassas, Virginia in 2003. He attended Coles Elementary School, Benton Middle School, Grace Preparatory School, and Osbourn Park High School where he was a cadet in the Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps and graduated in 2012. He attended Gadsden State Community College in Gadsden, Alabama and worked at the Potomac Nationals Stadium in Manassas. Throughout his life, he enjoyed karate, baseball, hunting in West Virginia, international politics, military strategy, Special Operations, World War II history, and international travel, especially Germany. He had the deepest respect for the military and his family who served this country. Adam went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on January 4, 2014.

He is survived by his parents, Chuck and Darlene Sorge, and his younger brother, Aaron.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA 20110. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Randy Scott officiating.

Interment will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA, with Dr. James Lowther officiating.
