PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — Police in Prince William County have made an arrest near Dumfries and have placed additional charges on man suspected in a child pornography sting.

Child Pornography Investigation *ADDITIONAL CHARGES – On January 10th, members of the Northern Virginia-DC Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force obtained additional warrants in regard to the ongoing investigation into child pornography involving the accused. During a forensics examination of a phone belonging to the accused, a total of 25 images of child pornography were recovered. Following the investigation, the additional warrants were served on the accused at the Adult Detention Center.

David Edward PERRY, 42, of 74 Dumfries Rd in Dumfries
Charged with 25 counts possession of child pornography

Child Pornography [Previously Released] – On September 4th, members of the Northern Virginia-DC Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force continued an investigation into child pornography with the execution of a search warrant at 74 Dumfries Rd in Dumfries (22026). The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a cybertip in regard to online communication involving the accused and child pornography. The investigation revealed that the accused was in possession of child pornography via a social media account. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident. The investigation continues.
