LAKE RIDGE, Va. — A total of nine businesses are without water this morning after a water main break near Occoquan.
A main underneath Old Bridge Road near the intersection of Va. 123 in Lake Ridge is the culprit. Crews from the Prince William County Service Authority are on the scene and beginning repair work, said spokesman Keenan Howell. Water to the main has been shut off and there is no estimated time of repair.
Two lanes of traffic on eastbound Old Bridge Road are closed near the intersection of Va. 123, and that has impacted the drive of those using Old Bridge Road to access Interstate 95.
This water main break comes on the heels of a water main break yesterday morning on Possum Point Road in Dumfries. It was since been repaired, said Howell.
